Why do I love sharks so darn much? They're likely the niftiest fish in the sea is all. They can do things other fish can't do, and we have barely begun to understand that and their role in our oceans.
I can imagine this shark is just out looking for his friends. They left him behind at the last feeding frenzy, you know frenzies! Where are they? Well if he looked closely he'd see his Hammerhead buddy was in the distance. I feel like these sharks are pals and have names for each other.
These are the things I think about when I make art 🎨
40.64 cm X30.48cm or 16”x12”
This painting is on a pro grade canvas board. I can't say what archival qualities it has, as the backing boards and glue are not always acid free. Because of this, the art is greatly reduced. I have lesser quality boards in the archive that are ten and fifteen years old, they are well preserved. Will they last 100 years? Likely.
