Anemones are so cool. They're not a jellyfish, not a coral, not a sponge, not a snail. I think anemones are possibly the least categorizable creature on the planet. A bit like a platypus, they resemble a lot of things and are still their very own thing.

While painting this anemone I thought a lot about all the things they do simply by being themselves. They provide shelter for others. They provide food and eat stuff. They convert one chemical to another. And they support life.

That's a lot to love! Oh sweet anemone you are fab!

This is a study on acrylic paper painted with acrylic. This means reduced pricing. You're welcome!

35.56cm X 27.94cm or 14” X 11”

I recommend that this be framed with a gap between the art and the paper, to prevent the art from adhering to the glass. While any art conservator would be able to salvage the art, this isn't recommended for display.

I offer framing on this size, please add a note to your order and I will contact you with options and pricing.
