My Pricing Structure

There has been a recent shift in how I price my work.

Everything new added to the shop that’s on canvas, wood, and aluminum has 2024 pricing.

Almost everything else will stay within the 2023 pricing structure, and my paper pricing will likely stay the same for a long time to come. Soft pastels need special papers which have quadrupled in price since last year. All pastels on paper will be priced the same as art on canvas.

The materials I’m using are expensive, and that is something I have to consider when these pieces get added to my shop. I had been saving some of my splurge-worthy canvases (the cost of canvas has tripled in the last year), and finally pulled them out for this Oceans Month series. I've been focusing on using up older art supplies to make art for my home. None of these fragile surfaces will be sold. Everything I sell has to pass my personal standards.

I have to be fair to myself and I’ve worked really hard over the last five years to grow from basic landscapes with no visible brushstrokes into the contemporary expressionism that I favour today. Now my work is full of chonky subjects that are rich and textured.

All that being said, if someone is totally in love with a piece of my artwork, but it’s outside of their budget, they can talk to me. I will try to negotiate something - whether that means I lower the price a bit, or I make them something similar within their budget.

I’m really proud of myself and I’m thrilled to be sharing and selling art that excites me.
